VICIOUS RUMORS Guitarist Interviewed At NAMM; Video Available
February 9, 2008Lacey Conner, villainess co-star of VH1's hit TV show "Rock of Love" featuring POISON's Bret Michaels, conducted an interview with guitarist Geoff Thorpe of veteran San Francisco Bay Area metallers VICIOUS RUMORS at the Dean Guitars booth at this year's winter NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show, which was held January 17-20 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. VICIOUS RUMORS is currently writing material for a new album that will be recorded later in the year at Trident studios in Pacheco, California with the production team of Geoff Thorpe and Juan Urteaga. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Murderball", "From Fear to Eternity" and "Over the Edge".
Geoff Thorpe allegedly got into an altercation with the group's now-former vocalist James Rivera (also HELSTAR, ex-SEVEN WITCHES, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM) at the end of the band's European tour last fall.

Geoff Thorpe spoke to "The Classic Metal Show" on December 8, 2007 about the alleged altercation that took place between him and Rivera.
